About the role

  • Ensure the reliability and maintainability of existing, new, and modified site systems, equipment, processes, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Define, design, develop, monitor and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance and other non-destructive testing methodologies to identify and isolate reliability problems.
  • Provide input to the Risk Management Plan to anticipate reliability-related risks.
  • Track and publish maintenance metrics; interpret data and recommend actions.
  • Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other operating problems.
  • Maintain the CMMS, ensuring system integrity of equipment BOMs and PMs.
  • Oversee Maintenance stockroom, ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
  • Participate in the development of criteria for evaluating equipment and MRO suppliers.
  • Liaise for contracted MRO site service providers.
  • Provide training to maintenance software and application end users on CMMS functions and best practices.

Requirements

  • B.S. in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing/processing
  • Computer proficiency that includes input of data and development of reports and presentations.
  • Experience with SAP (or other ERP software), MS Office, and AutoCAD
