About the role
- Providing technical support to both the sales department and the manufacturing plant for our engineering plastic materials DIC.PPS and Primef®
- Conducting experimental studies to support product developments assigned by DIC Japan
- Involvement in sampling / molding trials for customers and at customer sites on a European basis
- Providing material proposals based on customer requirement lists
- Supporting the Sales Team in Customer Meetings in technical issues
- Communication with the Central Lab in Japan
- Production of product samples
- Implementation of test procedures to measure physical and chemical properties
- Management and evaluation of test results
- Maintenance of injection moulding machine and extruder
- Purchase of consumables
Requirements
- Studies as a Plastics engineer or similar experience, such as training as a toolmaker or general experience in the plastics and processing sector
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Strong team and communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and preferably SAP
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel
