About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support our team to manage our Template Bill of Material (BOM) date.
- This role offers hands-on experience in sorting and analyzing data that we will provide in Excel files.
- Sort data by product line and system type.
- Analyze the number of components used over time and between active plants using them.
- Compare to existing BOMs and make recommendations to remove none active components.
- Prepare Average BOMS as percentage of component use for loading into SAP and to be used for forecasting.
- Assess target stock levels of components and assisting in making lead time change recommendations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Supply Chain or Design Engineering degree.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
