About the role
- Managing, developing and acquiring B2B customers
- Conducting market analyses and targeted new customer acquisition to open up new business potential
- Managing and developing existing customer relationships to ensure long-term partnerships
- Identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions; planning and implementing account measures; handling complaints
- Developing and implementing sales concepts and pricing strategies
- Preparing quotations, conducting price negotiations and optimizing the customer and product portfolio
- Managing and monitoring sales projects to ensure on-time implementation
- Results-oriented sales with a focus on revenue and margin development
- Attending trade fairs, maintaining networks and continuous market monitoring to strengthen the competitive position
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training or degree
- Solid technical and market knowledge in the chemical/plastics industry, ideally in masterbatch
- Proficient with standard IT applications
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills & ability to work in a team
- Analytical thinking and a structured working approach
- Very good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel
