About the role
- Head the maintenance department at Gallarta site
- Ensure availability, performance, and safety of installations and production machinery
- Oversee maintenance strategies, daily operations, continuous improvement, and budget management
- Lead and develop the maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with maintenance standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Plan, implement, and monitor maintenance programs
- Manage maintenance for all process equipment, production machinery, and site utilities
- Supervise SAP PM & GMAO maintenance plans and reporting
- Coordinate with Operations to execute maintenance activities
- Support engineering projects and contribute to plant improvements
- Conduct and document legal inspections and internal/external audits.
Requirements
- Industrial or Technical Engineer
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries
- Advanced English (C1)
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and prioritization abilities
- Solid knowledge of maintenance standards, safety protocols, ATEX regulations, and legal compliance
- Experience with SAP PM, maintenance reporting, work order management, and spare parts inventory control
- Familiar with preventive/predictive maintenance, technical standards, instrumentation, utilities, and engineering good practices
- Ability to perform root cause analyses and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
