Payroll Clerk
Sun Belle LLCPayroll Clerk handling payroll operations at Sun World International. Supporting payroll, HR, and Finance processes with a global perspective in a hybrid environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process payroll accurately and on time, in line with established schedules
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including timekeeping, leave balances, and employee data
- Run validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, audits, and statutory reporting
- Generate payroll reports for management and Finance
- Support benefits administration, including enrolment changes and employee queries
- Ensure compliance with South African tax, labour, and statutory requirements
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems
- Respond to payroll and benefits queries in a professional and timely manner
- Partner with HR and managers to ensure data accuracy and aligned processes
- Keep payroll and HR systems (including Paylocity) accurate and up to date
- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes
- Handle confidential employee information with care and discretion
Requirements
What you’ll need- A diploma or degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field — or currently completing one
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive, confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Up to 3 years’ experience in payroll or HR administration
- Exposure to Paylocity or a similar HRIS
- Experience supporting payroll in a multi-country or global environment
- Familiarity with the employee lifecycle
