About the role

  • Designing and developing backend services for Reusable Identity (Reusable KYC & Sumsub ID)
  • Building secure and scalable flows for identity reuse, consent management, and account protection
  • Working in a fast-moving environment with evolving product requirements and architectural decisions
  • Collaborating closely with Product (English-speaking stakeholders) and cross-functional teams
  • Taking ownership of services and features end-to-end — from design to production support

Requirements

  • Strong Java backend experience (5+ years), confident with modern backend architectures
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and making pragmatic engineering trade-offs
  • Proactive mindset: you take ownership and improve areas that lack clear responsibility
  • Solid English communication skills (B2+), able to participate in product discussions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to move fast without sacrificing code quality.
