About the role

  • Design and deliver customized fitness sessions, including Thai boxing, Pilates, functional training, mobility, and strength workouts.
  • Teach Thai boxing fundamentals: stance, striking techniques, pad work, defense.
  • Monitor client progress and adapt training plans as needed.
  • Provide professional massage therapy sessions (sports massage, deep tissue, or recovery-focused).
  • Incorporate stretching and mobility techniques to support overall wellness and injury prevention.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and client confidentiality.
  • Provide in-home and on-site sessions as required; manage own equipment when delivering in-home sessions.

Requirements

  • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
  • Licensed Massage Therapist (with valid license for massage in [your country/region]).
  • Demonstrable experience teaching Thai boxing (or Muay Thai), ideally with a certificate or track record.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Professional liability insurance covering both training and massage.
  • Minimum 13 years of combined experience in personal training and massage therapy.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology, injury prevention, and recovery.
  • Experience in functional training, HIIT, mobility work (nice to have).
  • Pilates certification (Mat Pilates minimum) (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of nutrition coaching basics (nice to have).
  • Background in self-defense coaching or related martial arts (nice to have).
  • Experience with assisted stretching or myofascial release (within scope of massage license) (nice to have).
  • Flexibility to provide in-home sessions with own equipment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Nassau, Bahamas.
