About the role
- Design and deliver customized fitness sessions, including Thai boxing, Pilates, functional training, mobility, and strength workouts.
- Teach Thai boxing fundamentals: stance, striking techniques, pad work, defense.
- Monitor client progress and adapt training plans as needed.
- Provide professional massage therapy sessions (sports massage, deep tissue, or recovery-focused).
- Incorporate stretching and mobility techniques to support overall wellness and injury prevention.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and client confidentiality.
- Provide in-home and on-site sessions as required; manage own equipment when delivering in-home sessions.
Requirements
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
- Licensed Massage Therapist (with valid license for massage in [your country/region]).
- Demonstrable experience teaching Thai boxing (or Muay Thai), ideally with a certificate or track record.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Professional liability insurance covering both training and massage.
- Minimum 13 years of combined experience in personal training and massage therapy.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology, injury prevention, and recovery.
- Experience in functional training, HIIT, mobility work (nice to have).
- Pilates certification (Mat Pilates minimum) (nice to have).
- Knowledge of nutrition coaching basics (nice to have).
- Background in self-defense coaching or related martial arts (nice to have).
- Experience with assisted stretching or myofascial release (within scope of massage license) (nice to have).
- Flexibility to provide in-home sessions with own equipment.
- Willingness to relocate to Nassau, Bahamas.
