About the role

  • Lead and optimize logistics operations and warehousing (3PLs).
  • Manage carriers and transport partners, inventory at 3PLs and global shipments.
  • Oversee end to end shipping (frozen and refrigerated), storage at 3PLs, inventory control.
  • Build relationships, work collaboratively with procurement on negotiating contracts.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to help streamline workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations (like cGMP, GDP, others).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Supply chain management, Business, Operations, or a pharmaceutical industry related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in global supply chain management and manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical/ biotech area.
  • Extensive experience in managing a logistics team.
  • Proven experience working at a strategic and tactical level with third-party manufacturers (CMOs).
  • Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance standards in the biotech industry (e.g., cGMP, GDP).
  • Strong experience in managing global teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
