About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for multiple audiences
Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting, metric, and dashboard requirements
Develop understanding of business operations and data usage
Provide guidance on data management standards and best practices
Serve as a subject matter expert for data engineering teams and technology partners
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Translate analysis into insights, narratives, context, commentary, and recommendations
Present findings to stakeholders with varying technical and operational expertise
Build stakeholder relationships, define functional requirements, and gather feedback
Advance enterprise reporting through roadmaps and backlog management
Identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with Data Engineers, reporting teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Develop leadership presentation materials
Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports using Excel and Power BI
Develop SQL queries for recurring and ad-hoc reports
Perform root cause analysis and optimize statistical calculations
Engage in analytical projects and exploratory data capturing
Identify and resolve issues in established reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2–5 years of analytics experience
Experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards, including DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization
Experience with Azure
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data querying
Ability to interpret and synthesize data
Ability to communicate insights and tell a story with data
Experience with operational or performance-based KPIs
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred: experience in transportation, logistics, operations, or field-based services
Preferred: experience in Microsoft Fabric
Preferred: predictive analytics, forecasting, or trend modeling experience
