About the role
- Work with HR business partners and business leaders to identify and address organizational learning needs.
- Develop and implement innovative, creative, high-impact talent management programs that enable organizational, team and employee and business performance.
- Develop and ensure delivery of training to support business initiatives such as the implementation of new tools, technologies, and operational or maintenance processes.
- Support Driver in Training – Transforming the Ride, a project to implement regional training centers and oversee the Smith Certification process, required by all trainers to delivery Smith Systems defensive driving materials.
- Support the ASE program by ensuring maintenance technicians have access to training and testing required for certification.
- Support EV (Electric Vehicle) vendor relations towards the development and administration of vehicle maintenance trainings for each EV supplier.
- Maximize learning resources to address all operations key priorities, initiatives, campaigns, and strategic objectives.
- Contribute to thought leadership on instructional design, knowledge management best practices and use of innovative technologies and approaches.
- Leverage and manage external consultants or suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services within budget, and maximum ROI by impact on the end users.
- Oversee the administration and maximize the use of the Talogy’s Caliper behavioral assessment tool for use in competency development and selection processes.
- Support the design, implementation, and reporting of learning and performance management related tasks using the company’s talent management platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in human resources with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in talent development and performance management
- Proven professional experience in all aspects of talent development: content development and delivery, change management, facilitation, performance improvement, and skills assessment.
- Strong experience with administration and configuration of learning management, learning experience, and performance management systems and tools; Cornerstone On Demand preferred.
- Proven experience with vendor and supplier management
- Proven ability to move between strategy and execution
- Strong executive presence and experience influencing senior executives
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with significant experience presenting to audiences of all levels and sizes.
