Director, Business Development – Recovery
Summit BHCDirector of Business Development managing healthcare marketing and growth strategies at Bel Aire Recovery Center. Responsible for service expansion and referral source development in Topeka, Kansas.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establishing and coordinating all business development and marketing functions for facility growth
- Developing and retaining referrals from physicians and other referral sources
- Employing creative approaches for growing facility’s positive reputation
- Developing and implementing business development programs to increase revenues and profits
- Collaborating with department leaders and corporate leaders
- Leading a team of highly engaged members through hiring, performance assessment, motivation, training, and coaching
- Managing staff scheduling and maintaining an updated plan for contingency staffing
- Engaging staff in quality and safety basics for compliance
- Conducting community workshops and seminars to educate clients and families on facility services
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Four or more years’ experience in healthcare business development and marketing role required, preferably in behavioral health or substance use disorder
- Good understanding of the local market and referral base
- Ability to create and develop referral sources
- Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatments
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile, where facility requires.
- Two or more years’ supervisory/management experience required.
