About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieving and exceeding sales objectives and growing market share.
- Managing the assigned territory.
- Establishing deep and meaningful business relationships based on clinical and market dynamic expertise.
- Increasing market share by closing new business in both new and existing accounts prioritized on market potential.
- Supporting sales results with an exceptional level of clinical expertise and understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape.
- Assessing and analyzing product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
- Collaborating and providing candid communication with team members.
- Traveling throughout the territory, which may include overnight stays and meetings extending over several days.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
- Demonstrated mastery of product and disease state knowledge.
- Proven track record of top-ranked sales performance (ideally in the top 25% of the nation).
- Experience working within Urology preferred.
- Experience with a pharmaceutical launch preferred.
- Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, including pull-through and push-through preferred.
- Ability to drive a car and possess a valid and current driver’s license.
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed (~20%).
