About the role

  • Support multiple projects by collaborating with others to understand business requirements
  • Develop test plans, create and implement automated tests
  • Ensure Tests across our integrated applications are high-quality and functioning correctly
  • Contribute to automation strategy planning, development, and implementation
  • Lead junior QA engineers and manual testers
  • Develop a training pathway to facilitate the transition of manual testers to an automation role
  • Investigate and report on new technologies, identify and propose Automation Process improvements
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to create efficiencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in automation testing and automation strategy planning
  • Expertise in black box and white box testing
  • Strong coding capabilities with Python, JavaScript, Java, VBScript, and testing tools like RFT, UFT and Eggplant
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and other markup languages
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in the use of Test management tools – HP Quality Centre, JIRA
  • High attention to detail and process oriented
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, Docker
  • Familiarity with Source Control Management concepts and tools – Perforce being particularly useful
  • Experience in payments related testing would be a distinct advantage
