About the role
- Supports the Quantexa application, systems and services for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts
- Develop and support applications in Scala / Python framework
- Create and deploy applications in Azure environment with interconnected components
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely solutions to problems
- Communicate effectively with business users, support teams, and stakeholders
- Diagnose and troubleshoot potential system issues
Requirements
- 7+ years of practical work experience with software and systems implementation, preferably in the AML, Fraud, Financial crime space
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information Systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of Scala (preferred), Python, Java, R, or similar object-oriented language
- Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory, Gen 2, Azure Databricks, etc.
- Experience in Elasticsearch
- Advanced working SQL knowledge on relational databases, preferably on MS SQL Server and databases on Azure cloud
- Experience with the DevOps lifecycle (git, ADO, Jenkins etc.)
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with REST web services and microservice architecture
