About the role
- Support the modernization of C-17 Training Systems.
- Lead Sumaria systems engineering activities as part of a multi-company team.
- Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.
- Generate and maintain a baseline of training system models.
- Participate in a requirements-driven, iterative-design systems engineering process.
- Model system baselines in accordance with the current MBSE Style Guide.
- Ensure models include requirement traceability.
- Conduct requirements analysis and maintain Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM).
- Prepare and deliver Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items related to system models.
- Contribute to bid and proposal efforts related to Sumaria Systems Engineering offerings.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in MBSE and SysML modeling.
- Strong background in software engineering and documentation.
- Experience leading design reviews and managing complex technical projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Active Secret clearance required
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace training systems.
