About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead SAP CPQ implementation-related changes to Variant Configuration models
- Lead migration and redesign of SAP LO-VC models to S/4HANA AVC, including migration methodology, scoping, validation, and end-to-end testing
- Design and implement next-generation configuration models leveraging advanced AVC capabilities
- Ensure seamless integration of configuration models with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Commerce, and Teamcenter PLM
- Establish global configuration modeling standards, governance, and best practices
- Train, coach, and mentor configuration modelers in best-practice modeling approaches
- Drive the transformation of global Variant Configuration models
- Own the transition from classic SAP Variant Configuration (LO VC) to S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep, hands-on experience with SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC and AVC) and SAP CPQ
- Experience migrating and redesigning configuration models from SAP ECC LO-VC to S/4HANA AVC
- Strong understanding of CTO and ETO product configuration scenarios
- Experience designing global configuration models in global, cross-functional environments
- Experience with Teamcenter Product Configurator, modular product structures, and multi-BOM scenarios is a strong advantage
- Ability to work at architecture and transformation level while remaining hands-on
- Fluent English communication skills
- Senior SAP configuration expert or architect; not a general SAP consultant or junior configuration modeling position
