About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support senior sales representatives in managing and growing assigned customer accounts
  • Conduct customer visits alongside senior team members to build relationships and gain field experience
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, site visits, and customer engagement
  • Support preparation of quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
  • Participate in project-related communications, including status updates and coordination with customers, operations, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline and customer activities in D365 and Salesforce
  • Help coordinate customer visits, facility tours, and test runs (e.g., TDI, inspections)
  • Collaborate with inside sales and operations to support order processing, delivery timelines, and customer expectations
  • Attend sales meetings, production/WIP meetings, and contribute to action tracking and follow-ups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–2 years of experience in an inside sales or support role, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sectors
  • Working knowledge of electromechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, generators, or industrial repair services
  • A degree is preferred but not required; we value hands-on experience and aptitude
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to visit client sites, attend trade events, or shadow field sales representatives
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a vehicle to visit customer locations as needed.
