About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components
Apply engineering knowledge to support planning, testing, and implementation of mechanical and electromechanical systems
Perform on-site field service preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on electromechanical equipment
Provide reports for jobs performed to the customer in a timely manner
Assist with shop projects which are electromechanical in nature

Requirements

What you’ll need

0 – 4 years’ experience in electrical engineering
Electric motor, generators repairs and design
Transformer repair and design
Switch gear design and diagnostics
Power Semiconductors
Proficient in basic power theory
Knowhow in the following topics: Operations of induction motors, Operations of synchronous motors, Transformer principle, Operation of semiconductors, Winding Insulation Tests
