About the role

  • Responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components
  • Apply engineering knowledge to support planning, testing, and implementation of mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Perform on-site field service preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on electromechanical equipment
  • Provide reports for jobs performed to the customer in a timely manner
  • Assist with shop projects which are electromechanical in nature
  • Involved in day-to-day operations

Requirements

  • 0 – 4 years’ experience in electrical engineering
  • Electric motor, generators repairs and design
  • Transformer repair and design
  • Switch gear design and diagnostics
  • Power Semiconductors
  • Proficient in basic power theory
  • Knowhow in the following topics: Operations of induction motors, Operations of synchronous motors, Transformer principle, Operation of semiconductors, Winding Insulation Tests
