About the role
- Own and manage the customer-facing product work, ensuring priorities are aligned with customer impact and business goals.
- Partner closely with engineering and design to translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Build feedback loops with customers to identify pain points, validate feature concepts, and measure outcomes.
- Define and track success metrics (adoption, engagement, satisfaction) to guide data-driven prioritization.
- Serve as the voice of the customer across the organization, ensuring their needs are represented in strategic decisions.
- Audit the current product backlog and customer requests within the first month.
- Establish prioritization criteria and feedback channels with Customer Success in the first month.
- Deliver initial roadmap update aligned to customer impact and business objectives in the first month.
- Deliver 2–3 high-priority customer features to production within 90 days.
- Increase product adoption/usage metrics by >10% within 90 days.
- Establish a repeatable customer feedback-to-roadmap process used across all product areas within 90 days.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management or equivalent experience, with a track record of shipping impactful software products.
- Proven experience gathering customer feedback and translating it into actionable requirements.
- Strong organizational discipline (tools like Jira, Linear, or Notion).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and making data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to push back on leadership to defend quality/timelines.
- Thrives in high-ambiguity, fast-paced startup environments.
