About the role
- Template Design & Delivery (~60%)
- Participate in client onboarding, discovery, and feedback calls to understand clinical documentation requirements across specialties
- Design and build AI-powered clinical note templates using tools such as Claude and OpenAI
- Test templates against real-world transcripts and encounters to validate structure, accuracy, and completeness
- Thoroughly QA the medical note outputs to make sure they align with expectations, ensuring no bugs or issues make it to production.
- Deliver templates to clients for review and iterate based on clinician feedback until they meet clinical and operational standards
- Manage multiple template projects concurrently across different clients and medical specialties
- EHR Integration & Troubleshooting (≈30%)
- Structure clinical note output for export into Electronic Health Record systems including athenaOne, Epic, AdvancedMD and more
- Map template fields to EHR-specific schemas and workflows
- Investigate and debug synchronization failures to understand why encounters succeed or fail
- Partner with engineering, integration vendors, and client IT teams to resolve technical issues
- Conduct trial-and-error testing to stabilize integrations prior to go-live and during early rollout
- Account Management & Delivery (≈10%)
- Maintain internal project trackers and implementation documentation
- Coordinate timelines, expectations, and deliverables with client stakeholders
- Own escalations related to note quality, template behavior, or EHR integration issues
- Act as a trusted technical point of contact for assigned accounts
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, GPT-4+)
- Ability to design structured prompts and templates while controlling output consistency, formatting, and edge cases
- Ability to logically reason about clinical completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Comfort working with structured data (JSON, schemas, mappings)
- Technical literacy with APIs, browser developer tools, and basic scripting
- Client-facing experience, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
