About the role
- Develop and manage content strategies that support mid-funnel engagement and sales enablement.
- Lead and manage a team of content creators focused on sales assets and conversion-oriented materials.
- Create targeted assets such as case studies, product one-pagers, email sequences, and sales presentations.
- Create internal sales tools to educate and upskill sellers.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product marketing, and company leadership to understand buyer personas, common objections, decision criteria, and industry trends.
- Contribute to an integrated marketing strategy and develop a content calendar aligned with campaigns, product launches, and customer journeys.
- Personalize content for different buyer personas and stages of the funnel.
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives with tailored content packages.
- Track, test, and measure content performance and refine messaging and formats.
- Develop and manage budgets for key product lines
- Commit to understanding the power industry and S&C’s solutions, and apply knowledge of customer challenges and S&C’s unique differentiators
- Build strong partnerships across the Marketing Communications department
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Technical Writing, English, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in marketing communication, product marketing, or sales enablement. Proven experience working in technically complex industries. Previous leadership and B2B experience a plus.
- Knowledge of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Experience and proficiency in proofing and editing content, as well as visual storytelling.
- Expertise in project management and a high proficiency for managing multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage direct reports and coach/edit work for corporate voice, messaging, structure, visuals, and best practices of communications channels.
- CRM experience a plus
