About the role
- Develop and execute content strategies that support demand generation and product awareness across digital channels.
- Lead and mentor a team of content strategists and writers to deliver cohesive and engaging content.
- Create educational and thought leadership content including blogs, videos, infographics, social media, and webinars.
- Collaborate with product marketing, subject matter experts, and company leaders to align messaging with buyer pain points and industry trends.
- Contribute to an integrated marketing strategy and own and align the editorial calendar for top-of-funnel initiatives tied to product launches, seasonal campaigns, and audience segments.
- Optimize content for SEO and discoverability to increase organic reach and engagement.
- Track, test, and measure content performance and refine messaging and formats..
- Partner with external agencies, influencers, and analysts to amplify reach and credibility.
- Develop and manage budgets for key product lines
- Commit to understanding the power industry and S&C’s solutions, and apply knowledge of customer challenges and S&C’s unique differentiators
- Build strong partnerships across the Marketing department and with outside vendors
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with others

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Technical Writing, English, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in marketing communication, product marketing, or marketing operations. Proven experience working in technically complex industries. Previous leadership and B2B experience a plus.
- Knowledge of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Experience and proficiency in proofing and editing content, as well as visual storytelling.
- Expertise in project management and a high proficiency for managing multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage direct reports and coach/edit work for corporate voice, messaging, structure, visuals, and best practices of communications channels.
- Marketing Automation experience a plus
