About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the strategic oversight of a portfolio of civil litigation cases
Conduct in-depth analysis of each case and define litigation strategies
Perform risk assessments and evaluate the feasibility of settlements
Monitor portfolio indicators (KPIs)
Hold meetings with partner law firms
Support internal departments with legal opinions, analyses and document validation
Review briefs and strategic documents submitted to the defense
Participate in drafting and reviewing policies, procedures and legal materials
Act proactively to identify legal risks
Manage deadlines, contingencies and legal demands within the portfolio
Serve as the team's technical reference
Participate in training and technical development initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree and active OAB registration
Technical background in Civil Litigation, preferably with extension courses or a specialization in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Consumer Law, Insurance Law or related areas
Experience in the insurance sector, preferably in automobile insurance
Knowledge of case management tools and Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel
Strong analytical skills and organized approach to tracking legal matters
Ability to draft basic legal opinions, review documents and support internal teams
Good interpersonal communication skills for interaction with internal areas and external law firms
Proactive, organized profile with an interest in continuous learning and technical development
Prior experience in corporate environments or law firms is a plus
