About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as underwriter and provide technical support for Transport Insurance products
Analyze and underwrite risks in transportation lines
Assess risk profiles considering goods, routes and claims history
Define technical terms and conditions (rates, limits, deductibles, clauses)
Monitor portfolio indicators (written premium, loss ratio)
Support performance and profitability analyses
Contribute information for management reports
Assist the commercial team in structuring proposals
Interact with brokers to provide technical clarifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in the insurance market, preferably in transport insurance
Experience underwriting transport insurance
Experience in risk analysis and pricing
Knowledge of coverages and operational dynamics of transport insurance
Basic understanding of risk management applied to cargo transportation
Familiarity with technical indicators (claims frequency/severity, loss ratio)
Basic knowledge of SUSEP rules and regulations
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience with policy issuance systems is a plus
Knowledge of endorsement/registration platforms is desirable
University degree completed (Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or related fields)
Courses or certifications in insurance
