About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Delivering theoretical and practical driver training to Service personnel, ensuring they can safely operate our fleet, including specialist vehicles and trailers, in both routine and emergency response conditions.
Delivering structured driver training and preparing candidates for assessment
Assessing driver competence against Nationally approved standards
Providing clear, constructive feedback to support development and performance
Producing reports and maintaining accurate training records
Contributing to ongoing training plans and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience delivering driver training to National standards
Experience assessing drivers against recognised competencies
A full UK LGV (Category C) licence held for a minimum of 3 years, with no endorsements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to give clear, constructive, and confident feedback
A team-oriented approach with a focus on safety, consistency, and professionalism
