About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and promote the Apprenticeships Norfolk brokerage service, responding to enquiries from employers and providing advice on apprenticeship and skills solutions.
  • Build and develop relationships with SMEs and micro-businesses across Norfolk, helping them identify workforce skills needs and recruitment opportunities.
  • Provide business advice and support to employers on apprenticeships, available funding and practical support options.
  • Work collaboratively with colleges, training providers, business support organisations and other partners to deliver employer-focused projects and initiatives.
  • Support participants to engage with project activity, helping to create a pipeline of potential candidates for apprenticeship and employment opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working within the employment, skills or apprenticeship sector
  • Confident engaging with employers, particularly small and medium-sized businesses
  • Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer service
