Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the line management of case work practitioners and specialist workers within the Partnership Strand.
Take lead responsibility for specific areas of YJS practice such as education, training and employment, parenting, substance misuse and the early intervention custody project.
Deliver high-quality services and work within the local community in partnership with key statutory agencies.

What you’ll need

Educated to degree level or hold a social work or other allied professional qualification or have significant relevant experience of working in social care or criminal justice.
Minimum of three years experience of direct working with children and families within the arena of youth justice.
