About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the FM Operations Managers in maintaining Norfolk County Council’s diverse property portfolio
  • Ensure all properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained
  • Efficiently allocate reactive and planned maintenance tasks to contractors
  • Monitor completion of tasks
  • Triage incoming issues, prioritizing health and safety concerns
  • Coordinate contractor attendance
  • Verify compliance with statutory requirements (including CDM and RAMS)
  • Track performance
  • Manage low-value maintenance budgets
  • Process invoices
  • Ensure value for money within NCC procurement guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in facilities management
  • Contractor coordination
  • Administrative processes within a property services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems is desirable
