About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the FM Operations Managers in maintaining Norfolk County Council’s diverse property portfolio
- Ensure all properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained
- Efficiently allocate reactive and planned maintenance tasks to contractors
- Monitor completion of tasks
- Triage incoming issues, prioritizing health and safety concerns
- Coordinate contractor attendance
- Verify compliance with statutory requirements (including CDM and RAMS)
- Track performance
- Manage low-value maintenance budgets
- Process invoices
- Ensure value for money within NCC procurement guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in facilities management
- Contractor coordination
- Administrative processes within a property services environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems is desirable
