About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the FM Operations Managers in maintaining Norfolk County Council’s diverse property portfolio
Ensure all properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained
Efficiently allocate reactive and planned maintenance tasks to contractors
Monitor completion of tasks
Triage incoming issues, prioritizing health and safety concerns
Coordinate contractor attendance
Verify compliance with statutory requirements (including CDM and RAMS)
Track performance
Manage low-value maintenance budgets
Process invoices
Ensure value for money within NCC procurement guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience in facilities management
Contractor coordination
Administrative processes within a property services environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems is desirable
