About the role

  • Independently perform maintenance, inspection and repair work at customer sites in the Mainz area
  • Systematic fault diagnosis on electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical assemblies using modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer software
  • Testing, servicing and replacement of drive, control and power systems (including battery and charging technology)
  • Perform legally required safety inspections (e.g., UVV – statutory accident prevention regulations)
  • Independently plan assignments and organize spare parts, and maintain tools and materials in the service vehicle
  • Document service calls using digital service reports
  • Provide technical advice and on-site support to customers and assist with application-related questions

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training – e.g., automotive/commercial vehicle mechatronics (m/f/d), agricultural machinery technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
  • Ideally some initial experience in technical service and working with commercial customers (field or internal service); career starters are also welcome
  • Strong organizational skills and enjoyment of working independently
  • High reliability and a friendly, professional manner with customers and suppliers
  • Valid driver's license (category B) required
