About the role
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction-related goods and services across Submer’s data center projects.
- Source qualified suppliers and contractors for structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, firefighting and technology-related scopes along with administrative purchase if any.
- Prepare, evaluate bids and lead commercial negotiations in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain procurement schedules aligned with project delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with cost, quality, and sustainability targets throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Monitor vendor performance, track deliveries, and manage supplier relationships to ensure accountability.
- Work closely with finance, engineering, and construction teams to optimize budgets and cost control.
- Support the implementation of digital procurement tools and platforms for streamlined operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and procurement reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in construction or infrastructure procurement (datacenter project experience is a strong plus).
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, contracting strategies, and construction industry supply chains.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with procurement tools.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in English and experience in a global environment is required.
