About the role

  • Drive revenue growth, market diversification, and provide exceptional leadership to STV’s Buildings Group in Pennsylvania
  • Oversee two offices located in Philadelphia and Douglassville, PA
  • Accountable for planning and organizing the business, making operational decisions
  • Represent STV with clients, the industry, and broader community across Pennsylvania
  • Work with STV client service team leaders to ensure robust client relationships
  • Maintain close professional relationships with key people at client and community organizations
  • Identify, recruit, and develop talent with the aim of growing the business
  • Provide effective management of STV’s local business activities
  • Analyze and understand client, business, and industry issues affecting STV’s business in PA
  • Assess performance of STV team, rectify shortfalls, and promote exceptional talent
  • Analyze and report on business performance and implement measures to achieve financial goals

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Architecture
  • Registered Architect in PA (and preferably additional states)
  • 18+ years of experience in relevant market sector/s with a proven track record in operations leadership and project delivery
  • Proven leader of multidisciplinary design teams, including Project Managers, Architects, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Engineers
  • Driving new business, optimizing relationships with existing clients, leading proposals/pursuit strategies
  • Preferred (not essential) exposure or prior ownership for a group P&L
  • Strong foothold in one or more vertical markets such as Science & Technology, Transportation, Industrial & Manufacturing, Aviation, Corporate, and Education
