About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a named-account strategy against a targeted set of eClinical platforms, sponsors, and CROs.
- Own the full sales cycle for new logo acquisition, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract execution.
- Leverage existing industry relationships and develop new strategic partnerships to accelerate pipeline growth and expand Studion's market presence.
- Build and maintain relationships across the clinical trial technology ecosystem, including sponsors, CROs, and eClinical platform providers.
- Represent Studion at industry conferences, customer meetings, and networking events to strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities (approximately 25% travel).
- Refine and communicate Studion's value proposition to potential customers
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding, successful transition from sale to delivery, and ongoing client success.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on commercial strategy, market positioning, pricing, and growth initiatives.
- Build and execute a strategic business development plan that generates a predictable pipeline of qualified opportunities within the life sciences market.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience in the life sciences technology industry.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding annual revenue quotas through the sale of complex professional services, managed services, SaaS, or technology consulting engagements valued at $500k+. Experience structuring and closing multi-year recurring contracts, not project SOWs.
- Established networks in the eClinical Life Sciences industry with the ability to leverage existing relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- Strong consultative sales skills rooted in outcomes, business impact, and strategic fit.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, compliance (CSV), and clinical technologies such as ECOA, EPRO, and EDC platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence executive decision makers, lead strategic business reviews, and build alignment across client and internal stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
