About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and achieve regional revenue targets, including: New sales, Renewals and repeat business, Expansion within existing accounts
- Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on long-term growth and retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with district and school leaders through onsite and virtual meetings
- Deliver clear, persuasive presentations to educators and administrators
- Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility
- Use CRM systems with consistency and accuracy
- Manage the regional budget and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor customer needs, market conditions, and competitor activity, and provide timely feedback internally
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Customer Outreach teams to ensure successful customer support and implementation
- Attend conferences and events to generate new opportunities within the region
- Demonstrate strong follow-through, responsiveness, and professionalism in all customer interactions
- Support cross-territory collaboration when needed
- Travel approximately two weeks per month within the assigned region
- Perform other duties as assigned by sales leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of experience in education sales
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- High integrity, honesty, and accountability
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proven problem-solving mindset and ability to operate under pressure
- Ability to quickly develop deep knowledge of Studies Weekly products and solutions
- Bachelor's degree required
