About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and achieve regional revenue targets, including: New sales, Renewals and repeat business, Expansion within existing accounts
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on long-term growth and retention
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with district and school leaders through onsite and virtual meetings
  • Deliver clear, persuasive presentations to educators and administrators
  • Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility
  • Use CRM systems with consistency and accuracy
  • Manage the regional budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitor customer needs, market conditions, and competitor activity, and provide timely feedback internally
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Customer Outreach teams to ensure successful customer support and implementation
  • Attend conferences and events to generate new opportunities within the region
  • Demonstrate strong follow-through, responsiveness, and professionalism in all customer interactions
  • Support cross-territory collaboration when needed
  • Travel approximately two weeks per month within the assigned region
  • Perform other duties as assigned by sales leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in education sales
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High integrity, honesty, and accountability
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proven problem-solving mindset and ability to operate under pressure
  • Ability to quickly develop deep knowledge of Studies Weekly products and solutions
  • Bachelor's degree required
