About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead cross-functional Finance technology projects by defining scope, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and success measures
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, critical paths, release plans, and resource plans
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, actuals, resource allocations, and financial risks with Finance stakeholders
  • Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation items
  • Provide regular leadership updates
  • Coordinate requirements management, testing readiness, deployment planning, change control, and transition-to-support activities
  • Facilitate Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery activities, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release planning, and stage-gate reviews
  • Oversee vendor engagement, statement-of-work alignment, deliverable tracking, and integration of vendor activities
  • Measure and report project outcomes, adoption metrics, financial impact, operational benefits, and post-implementation performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in project management, program management, technology delivery, or related business functions
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project/program management certification preferred
  • Experience supporting Finance functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, Finance systems, or Finance transformation initiatives preferred
  • Experience delivering enterprise technology projects using Agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies preferred
  • Experience with software development lifecycle practices, testing, deployment, change control, and governance processes preferred
  • Experience in product ownership, product management, roadmap delivery, backlog prioritization, or adoption planning preferred
  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Planview, Smartsheets, or comparable project and portfolio management platforms preferred
  • Lean, Scrum Master, or related Agile certification preferred
