About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote and sell Stryker Smart Care products to hospitals, healthcare providers, and other organizations
  • Identify, qualify, and close new customer sales opportunities in the designated territory
  • Plan and implement territory sales strategies to progress deals
  • Forecast and maintain the pipeline to support quarter-over-quarter quota achievement
  • Advance opportunities efficiently through the sales cycle
  • Build and maintain executive and key customer relationships through the C-suite
  • Conduct solution-focused customer presentations and coordinate internal team involvement
  • Maintain positive communication and collaboration with internal partners and teams
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record
  • Solid understanding of communication technology trends and industry dynamics in healthcare
  • Executive presence and influencing skills
  • Excellent negotiation and ability to close sales
  • Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles typically six months or longer with multiple stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers
  • Ability to convert leads to new relationships and closed deals
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to meet physical and cognitive demands, including prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling; coordination of eye, hand, and foot movement; grasping; visual and auditory discrimination/memory; reading ability; and memory retention
  • Ability to handle materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, rubber, metals, and coated products
