About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts by delivering excellent service and building trusted partnerships
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
  • Communicate with stakeholders and customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve challenges
  • Conduct product evaluations in operating room and office settings, demonstrating product value
  • Provide Stryker product knowledge and training to surgeons, nurses, and OR staff
  • Manage and maintain product sample inventory
  • Adhere to compliance requirements and AdvaMed principles of responsibility
  • Participate in and represent Stryker at industry events and conferences as required
  • Perform on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on territory needs
  • Address urgent technical needs and ensure continuous customer support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4 years’ experience in a clinical healthcare/sales role, or a combination of the two
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals
  • Knowledge of and experience with sales techniques, marketing strategies, product demonstrations, and sales control systems
  • Medical device sales experience preferred
  • Clinical work environment experience preferred
  • Expertise with orthopedic joint replacement products preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ B2B sales experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required
  • Ability to handle instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids
  • Depending on customer requirements, employees and new hires in sales and field roles may be required to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination
