About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sell Stryker Trauma products that meet customers’ needs
- Become the resident trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals
- Organize materials and quickly sort possible solutions during operating room and emergency room consultations
- Manage and maintain product inventory meticulously
- Assist customers whenever needed
- Build credibility with surgeons through knowledge of Stryker and competitor products
- Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives
- Participate in sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required
- Travel approximately 30%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role, or a combination of the two
- 3+ years of sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of current office technologies, including MS Office suite and databases
- Experience building and maintaining relationships; relationships with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial
- Comfortable working in emergency and operating room environments
- Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required
- Must adhere to AdvaMed compliance and principles of responsibility
- Must maintain privacy and confidentiality of information
- Must protect organizational assets and act with ethics and integrity
- Must report non-compliance and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, accreditation and licensure requirements, and company policies and procedures
