About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and sell Stryker Sage products designed to address preventable never-events in healthcare facilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key account influencers, distributor contacts, and end-users
- Achieve assigned sales quota and defend the existing customer base
- Serve as the resident Sage product expert for clinical specialists, nurses, educators, and administrators
- Address customer inquiries, negotiate pricing, and manage orders
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes
- Improve customer protocols and processes to deliver clinical and financial improvements
- Provide consultative customer service with honesty, integrity, teamwork, and responsiveness
- Establish consultant-level relationships through clinical knowledge and healthcare insights
- Collaborate with marketing and support teams to drive business growth
- Monitor performance and exceed sales targets
- Support marketing, market research, new product development and introduction, P&L management, and field testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required
- 5+ years of professional experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence required
- Good driving record required
- Ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach, push, and pull as needed
- Ability to perform prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling
- Eye, hand, and foot coordination
- Ability to grasp by hand
- Visual and auditory discrimination and memory
- Reading ability and memory retention
- Ability to handle materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, rubber, metals, and coated products
- Ability to travel 30%
- Sales or clinical-setting experience
