About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee sales activity and productivity standards, territory management, schedules, and time management for the sales team.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales professionals.
- Conduct quarterly sales training sessions and individual performance reviews.
- Review and analyze sales data and commission reports.
- Manage the target pipeline lists and ensure alignment with sales goals.
- Establish monthly meetings with the Area VP Sales to discuss regional goals and status.
- Foster a healthy competitive team environment and be involved in top Target Accounts and competitive situations.
- Be accessible to provide daily troubleshooting and strategic discussions with sales team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years in sales with a proven history of success.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in developing and implementing sales programs.
- Proven experience in formal leadership roles or in leading teams and projects in various settings strongly preferred.
