About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Optimize machining processes for the production of implants.
  • Integrate new CNC systems into production and support their commissioning.
  • Analyze manufacturing workflows, machine utilization and material flows, and identify bottlenecks.
  • Implement sustainable improvements and develop technical concepts to advance manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with colleagues from Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering, as well as with external partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Medical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field.
  • Practical experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on machining, CNC machining, turning, milling or production-oriented process optimization.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, machine integration and production workflows.
  • Structured, independent and pragmatic way of working with a strong implementation focus.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production or process development, ideally in CNC machining or metalworking.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, qualification or validation of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Experience in analyzing and optimizing factory layouts, capacities or production flows.
  • Exposure to regulated production environments, e.g. medical devices, automotive, aerospace or similar industries.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams from Engineering, Production, Quality and Maintenance.
