Senior Regional Sales Manager, Trauma – North Italy

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take full ownership of the region, leading both people and business performance
- Strengthen partnerships with healthcare professionals and deliver sustainable growth
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Own regional performance: sales, forecasting, pipeline development, and budget accountability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare decision-makers (including KOLs)
- Drive business growth through existing accounts and new customer acquisition
- Manage a complex ecosystem, including direct reports and indirect channels (agents and distributors)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure excellent customer experience across the full order-to-cash cycle
- Analyse performance data and implement targeted actions to improve results
- Lead and embrace change, contributing to innovation, simplification, and scalability
- Act as a role model within the broader leadership team, sharing best practices and supporting peers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of overall professional experience
- Strong people management experience (ideally 3+ years)
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver and exceed targets
- Experience in complex, structured environments (multinational preferred)
- Exposure to indirect channel management is a strong plus
- Background in medical devices / orthopaedics is preferred
