Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems
Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management
Contribute across the full product lifecycle—from concept, design, and development through verification, validation, and launch
Design, develop, modify, and verify medical device software components
Translate user, clinical, market, and Voice of Customer inputs into design requirements
Conduct advanced prototyping, testing, research, and problem solving
Participate in code reviews
Generate, review, and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation
Follow and mentor others on R&D procedures, design controls, risk management, regulatory standards, and Quality Management System requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
Minimum of 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience developing Windows-based applications using C#, C++, and .NET
Deep proficiency in WPF and Windows Services
Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs (REST, SOAP, WCF, gRPC)
Strong knowledge of Ethernet and IP networking, including AV‑over‑IP protocols (TCP/UDP, multicast, QoS, VLANs, NDI, SDVoE)
Knowledge of FPGAs
Familiarity with US FDA and ISO standards like IEC 62304, IEC 60601, 21CRF 820 is a plus
