About the role

  • Provide training and support to surgeons and OR staff before and during surgeries in the handling of the Mako System in the Heidelberg and Bad Kreuznach region.
  • Deliver intraoperative instruction on the clinical and technical operation of the Mako System and the applications installed on it (hip and knee total endoprosthesis modules).
  • Explain software workflows to prepare preoperative CT data for compatibility with the Mako System and assist the surgeon with preoperative planning.
  • Prepare previews/overviews of upcoming procedures to be performed with the Mako System.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct training programs and presentations for users from the operating room and radiology departments.
  • Coordinate newly acquired customers in cooperation with the endoprosthetics sales team.
  • Provide sales support on product-specific questions at trade shows and congresses.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional experience within a medical environment (e.g., surgical assistant/OTA specialist, medical technology application specialist, clinical support, physiotherapy)
  • Strong technical affinity and the ability to convey complex topics quickly and clearly
  • Strong customer- and service-orientation
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Reliable organizational and planning skills and a high level of responsibility
  • Valid driver's license (class B) and high willingness to travel
  • Fluent German and very good English skills (C1) both written and spoken
