About the role

  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures
  • Provide technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff
  • Collaborate with surgical teams for optimal use of Mako robotic platform
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation
  • Maintain knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques and robotic technology
  • Provide ongoing training and support to hospital staff and surgical teams
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites

Requirements

  • Strong clinical background
  • Passion for surgical innovation
  • Experience in fields such as Orthopaedic clinical support, Biomedical science/engineering, Medical device experience, or Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
  • Confidence in surgical/theatre settings
  • Technical savvy with software and medical technology
  • Ability to build trust with surgeons and hospital teams
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented
