About the role
- Serve as strategic legal partner and advisor to Indirect Procurement, divisional leadership, and Stryker's GQO function
- Draft and negotiate contracts related to indirect procurement (service agreements, SOWs, NDAs, amendments)
- Act as legal business partner to indirect sourcing and buying personnel globally
- Deliver legal research and accurate information regarding laws and regulations
- Provide legal advice and make decisions with potentially large financial impact
- Collaborate with colleagues, management, and outside counsel
- Assist on other matters per department needs
Requirements
- Bachelor degree
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- License to practice Law in the US
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in commercial contracting, experience in contracting strategies, and consulting services
- Experience working within a global organization
- Strong regulatory and compliance expertise
- Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Hands-on experience in software procurement and contracting (SaaS, licensing, and technology agreements)
