About the role
- Take over sales activities for innovative hip and knee implants as well as the unique MAKO robotic system.
- Responsible for the operational and strategic management of your sales territory.
- Conduct targeted new customer acquisition and customer support.
- Implement targeted sales and marketing strategies and negotiate with OR management, chief physicians, hospital administrations, clinical engineering/biomedical technology and purchasing departments.
- Advise and train medical and nursing staff on the application of the products.
- Develop needs-based customer orders and create financing plans in close cooperation with the MAKO team.
- Attend trade shows, conferences and business meetings to identify potential new customers.
Requirements
- Initial sales experience, either in medical technology or other related industries.
- Passion for selling a complex product portfolio.
- Some experience in building long-term customer relationships and generating new business.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, solution-oriented approach, excellent organizational skills.
- Possession of a valid car driving license.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
- Degree in biomedical engineering, engineering sciences, health management or a comparable qualification in the (medical) technical field (preferred).
- Industry knowledge in medical technology, e.g., as a Surgical Technical Assistant (OTA), OR management or similar roles within the sector (preferred).
