About the role
- Partner with R&D project teams to manage monthly close activities, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and clear understanding of budget variances. Serve as the finance lead for the DRE business, aligning on project spend and ensuring consistency with partnership agreements. Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning to support strategic growth across MET R&D. Identify and implement improvements in complex financial structures to enhance clarity and efficiency. Build and maintain financial models for new product development, integrating strategic input from upstream marketing. Present financial model summaries to senior leadership, enabling informed investment decisions. Develop portfolio-level reporting that supports prioritization and long-term planning across the innovation pipeline. Collaborate with MET R&D leaders and cross-functional partners to analyze project spend, uncover risks, and drive corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 6+ years of relevant finance or FP&A experience Preferred CPA or MBA HFM, Oracle, and SAP experience
