About the role
- Identify and capture public tenders for participation according to Stryker’s product portfolio
- Monitor the entire bidding process, from identifying and analyzing the tender notice, documentation, pricing, appeals, challenges, inquiries, managerial approvals, bids, qualification, award and commitment
- Manage the bidding process for managerial approval
- Prepare powers of attorney, when necessary, exclusively for participation in bidding processes
- Prepare commercial proposals related to tenders
- Draft challenges, inquiries and clarifications directed to governmental bodies with support from the Bidding Specialist and/or manager
- Identify and address potential non-conformities related to bidding processes
- Compile required documentation for company participation and qualification with the contracting authority
- Manage Price Registration Records (Atas de Registro de Preços) and their validity as a strategic activity together with the Sales team and Representatives in the case of government entities opting in
- Monitor and control Price Registration Records/Contracts/Commitments
- Register the company on electronic portals for participation in electronic tenders (assisted by the bidding intern).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business Administration
- Previous experience in public procurement / bidding processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing public procurement processes
- Familiarity with electronic procurement portals: ComprasNet, Licitações-e, Bolsa Eletrônica de Compras (BEC), Compras MG, Compras PE, Compras RJ, BLL, BBMNET, Portal de Compras Públicas, Publinexo and Caixa Econômica Federal
- Experience preparing requests for clarification, challenges/appeals, administrative appeals and preliminary defenses
- Experience analyzing Price Registration Records (Atas de Registro de Preços) and administrative contracts.
