About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, review, and file annual Form 5500 returns and all related schedules.
  • Conduct annual nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP, top-heavy, coverage, etc.).
  • Interpret and apply ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations to retirement plans.
  • Coordinate with plan sponsors, auditors, and consultants to resolve compliance issues.
  • Consult on plan designs.
  • Maintain accurate records of filings and compliance testing results.
  • Stay current with regulatory updates and communicate changes to the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-7 years of experience in ERISA compliance, Non-Discrimination Testing, and Form 5500 preparation required.
  • Experience with FT William software in both compliance and 5500 modules required.
  • Experience with PensionPro or other pension related platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of IRS and DOL regulations related to qualified plans.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as: Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, file compliance, and accuracy.
  • ASPPA or CEBS designation (QKA, QPA, or CPC) strongly desirable.
